I recently stayed at a hotel just outside the city, but walking distance to restaurants in nearby Trastevere where the food was so much more reasonable than in the city center. The room was comfortable and clean, with fresh towels provided daily. The breakfast offered a good variety each day. Additionally, the hotel had a pool where I could relax and a lovely garden where I could unwind. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable.
There was some noise from a private party held on the rooftop on one of the nights, which was a bit disruptive.
